We allow Assistance Dogs if they are fully trained and visibly working. (i.e. with paperwork and wearing a working harness). We will also admit a dog if you have an Access Card with the assistance dog symbol. Please note that Companion or Therapy Dogs will not be admitted without the appropriate paperwork. Please call or email ahead of your visit to ensure your dog qualifies. In the interest of our animals' welfare, assistance dogs are not permitted to enter any of the animal barns, courtyards, or the Birds of Prey Centre.
We offer free entry for the carer of a full-paying adult or child over the age of 3 requiring such care. Proof of DLA or PIP paperwork, or an Access Card with the +1 symbol, will be required on the day in order to be eligible for this offer. If you are pre-booking online, you only need to reserve a ticket for the free carer (there is no cost to this); just let the receptionist know on arrival. Please note that carers will need to pay for any additional chargeable activities such as the deer train.
We do have a small number of activities that have a small charge. These include the children's raceway electric cars, orbiters and radio controlled boats where a £1 coin is required to operate them.
There is also a small charge of £2 per person (under 3's go free) for the Deer Train ride; this is a 20 minute ride, giving you the opportunity to hand-feed our herd of red deer - the deer food is included in this price (please book this early in your visit, it gets booked up!). Additional animal feed can also be bought to feed our wide variety of other animals on the park if wanted, but there is no obligation to buy this.
We also have a lovely mini-golf course available for £2 per person.
NEW for '22, Dougie the Digger requires a £1 coin to operate. There's a shovel load of fun to be had... Can you dig it?!
No, pre-booking is not necessary, our tickets are open for any day in the 2024 season and you will not be asked to choose a date when purchasing your tickets.
