May Half Term – Pirate Week

Ah ha me hearties! This May Half Term week there’ll be swash-bucklin’ fun aplenty at World of Country Life, Exmouth!
We’ll have Pirate themed activities galore and – twice daily through the week (11.30am & 2.30pm, Monday-Friday) – our Pirate Ship Play Area will play host to an amazing pirate sword fighting show brought to you by Warwick Warriors!
Captain ‘Appy Angus will be on hand with the rest of his Country Life crew to make sure your May Half Term visit is one to remember!
And if that’s not enough, we’re really happy to have our friends from local Exmouth animal rescue centre CJS Exotics here to deliver a show & tell on Wednesday 29th & Thursday 30th May at midday of all the ins and outs of properly caring for exotic animals. Plus all the usual daily activities like goat walking, animal handling, bottle feeding, bird of prey flying display, ferret racing and the Deer Train to fill your day with fun!
There are also tons of outdoor play areas like Harry the Harvester and the Tower of Slides as well as three different indoor soft play areas and the indoor Pirate Ship Adventure featuring our full sized wooden pirate ship!
And there’s the Museum of Farming with loads of working vintage farm machinery and the Hall of Transport with an amazing collection of vintage bikes, cars, busses and steam engines – including vehicles featured on Downton Abbey & Mr Selfridge!
