Steam Engines

Come and see our amazing collection of Steam Engines. We have the biggest collection in the South West.

These include three Showman’s Engines – 'Candyfloss', 'His Majesty' and ‘Gladiator’ which is our biggest Engine and weighs in at a whopping 18  tonnes!   Our forth Showman’s ‘The King of the Belgians’ is out on the road attending Steam Fairs etc. but will be returning to the park for some of our special Devon Steam Days*.

All of these have been carefully restored by ourselves and our dedicated team of helpers, with the most recent one being King of the Belgians which has taken four years to complete. Also on display is the exceptionally rare Roboe Steam Lorry of which there is thought to be only two in existence. We also have 4 Traction Engines and a Steam Lorry displayed making it one of the largest collection of steam engines in Devon.
