Exhibition hall

Our exhibition hall is a snapshot of rural life, nostalgia, memorabilia and times gone by.

Farming Machinery Museum

Packed with an extraordinary collection of farm and agricultural machinery, the exhibition hall houses a vast array of farming technology collected over 50 years.

It's easy to forget that some of this machinery was regarded as sophisticated technology in its time - and shows how much life has changed in the past century.

Ever wanted to know what a pig oiler looked like? You can find out at The World of Country Life!

Memory Lane

You've heard of Memory Lane, now stroll down it. Our replica Victorian street with pub, dress shop, keeper's cottage and garage show a wealth of curio, antique objects and unusual machinery from times gone by.

Life in the 1920's, 30's & 40's

The tableaux of life in the 20's, 30's and 40's have become something of a local icon. Did you see a mannequin move or was it just your imagination?
